‡øëHŠÊ˜·³Ç Exam
The ‡øëHŠÊ˜·³Ç offers qualifications in the ethical promotion of prescription medicines for industry personnel.
The ‡øëHŠÊ˜·³Ç Exam is an appropriate accredited examination for industry personnel to comply with Clause 9.4 of the ‡øëHŠÊ˜·³Ç Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Â
It helps to make sure that all industry personnel have the understanding they need to promote medicines.
There are two qualifications – the Advanced Professional Programme for Industry Personnel aimed at those who promote medicines to prescribers and the Intermediate Professional Programme for Industry Personnel for those who do not prescribe. Â
The exams are challenging and it requires commitment to successfully pass them.
It is a requirement of the ‡øëHŠÊ˜·³Ç Code of Practice that an appropriate exam is sat during the first year of employment in any relevant industry role and is passed within two years. It is possible to take the exam in advance of applying for jobs in this area.
